Julie Fellows is a successful senior executive and financial services leader with a proven ability to drive enterprise-level growth while skillfully managing risk. Her experience as a former federal regulator makes her uniquely qualified to lead BankWyse as we help companies realize the promise of a seamlessly integrated financial environment. A few of Julie’s notable accomplishments include:

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and a Certificate in Cyber-Security Risk Management from Harvard University

Justin Culver is a successful serial entrepreneur and technologist with a track record of founding and exiting multiple technology companies. Beginning with the founding of his first technology company in 2000, he has subsequently led more than 10 start-up ventures in verticals ranging from real estate to blockchain. A few of Justin’s notable accomplishments include:

Burrtech Corporation - an IT managed service provider
bWERX Inc. - a software development company

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and computer science from the Colorado School of Mines and completed an executive-level program on blockchain technologies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Brenda is an independent director with extensive Fortune 500 experience as an executive with IBM, nonprofits, and start-ups based on emerging technology. She is an accomplished business executive in blockchain, fintech, cloud computing, and data science. She has wide-ranging business and operational experience combining extensive technical knowledge with a highly developed, customer-focused approach. This combination of computer science and management expertise allows her to deep dive into the technical world while keeping in mind the business acumen of growing and scaling a successful start-up.

Created a new division within IBM to leverage emerging assets for clients willing to invest in blockchain early in the maturity cycle
Proven leadership in executing precise expansion and business management tactics that will place BankWyse ahead of the competition in support of expanding Wyoming’s new tech ecosystem

Brenda has a Bachelor of Science degree in math/computer science and a Master of Science degree in management.

John is an Independent Director that currently co-owns and operates a business consulting company. He has spent the last 24+ years providing strategic, marketing, financial and operating services to high-tech, telecommunications, utilities, and banking clients, varying in size from startups to multinational operators. John has held senior leadership roles such as President, CMO, CFO, and Region VP leveraging the learnings from that diverse background to build high-performing teams that deliver growth and profitability.

Highlights include:

Led the turnaround of a bankrupt wireless operator. By creating, evolving, and executing the strategy, John and his team grew the customer base, introduced a new line of business, and delivered profitability and free cash flow without the benefit of outside funding
Developed and implemented the strategy and business case for the first Business Services organization for a major cable operator
Developed one of the first financial models that forecasted the value of wireless (cellular) markets which led to a $1.2B acquisition

John has a BS in Business from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University

Dessa is an Independent Director and Global Executive with an extensive background in Global Fortune 500 companies, private-equity backed turnarounds and start-ups with an emphasis on financial systems and strategies as well as emerging financial technology. Her experience spans a decade on wall street at Goldman Sachs to CFO at publicly-traded Prologis and Global Treasurer for GMAC during the 2008 financial crisis. With a background in both finance and anthropology, she is adept at recognizing financial issues and technology trends and moving the organization to respond. Her emphasis on financial technology has resulted in being on the forefront of industry changes.

Financial highlights include:

COO/CFO of Neom Tech & Digital, a giga-city development located in Saudi Arabia, that is creating the first sustainable, cognitive city in 10,600 square miles of NW Saudi Arabia. Responsible for designing & building the hard and soft technology infrastructure for the city.
Global Treasurer for GMAC during the financial crisis of 2008. Responsible for coordinating the response to 100 banks with over $100b in lines outstanding and restructuring the capital structure to avoid a melt-down. Restructured GMAC into a Bank and received approval and funding.
Instituted the first electronic firm wide risk management system at Goldman Sachs and sat on the Firm-wide Risk Steering Committee.

Dessa has a BA in Anthropology from Colorado College and an MBA from Columbia Business School with an emphasis on Finance and Real Estate.
